I’ve read many online and offline articles about how business have succeeded solely because of their blog. Most of those stories have been really inspiring and truly amazing. For instance 37Signals, who launched BaseCamp with their blog as it boasted tens of thousands of subscribers. Or Wufoo, doing it in a similar manner though they originally started out with a blog, which lead to a successful business. There’s a ton of blogs online, and just about all of them drive huge amounts of traffic to their business.
I have ventured into many startups on my own. I love the challenge that comes with building a profitable business. I’m not saying any of them was easy, though I am saying that having a blog took away 90% of the challenge.
1.) A blog brings you signups
A blog allows your readers to learn a lot more about your services, products and business. When they enjoy your content, you establish dedicated followers (customers).A
Here, I found that it is key that you create a strong call to action to make it easy for people to click through to your main site. Invest a few bucks in a nice WP-theme so people understand increases your search engine position, due to more content on your website.
