Web Design has become more and more popular among local business owners here in Kentucky. Ten years ago it was rare to locate most businesses online. Today you can’t watch a grocery store commercial on T.V without them mentioning somewhere throughout the commercial to “Like Their Facebook Page”. Even today 95% of all business professionals have even their web address listed somewhere on their business card.
There are those other 5% of business professionals who are still stuck in the past and have yet to become educated on the fact that the internet exists. I really feel sorry for those few. Then there’s those few who are so tight they refuse to invest the little it cost to have a website designed for their brand.
- Let’s Move On
Everyone wants an appeling website. It’s true and so is the fact that a good looking web design is remembered easily. We’ve all desired to change our website at some point or another. Though the truth is that, the more “stuff” your website is coded for and the more stuff you add toward the top of the website, the poorer it’ll rank in search engines. It has been my experience that a better coded, more precise designed website, with the least amount of appealing nature, will innevitably out rank the more heavier website nine times out of ten.
I’m not referring to website content or articles. In fact I’m not at all referring to text any what so ever. Speaking of text – it’s a well known fact that the more higher the text is on a page, the quicker it’ll be indexed and the better it’ll rank. Always refrain from adding advertisements anywhere near the top of your website.
To gain the most from your hard work – when you add to your website, continue to build for quality and nothing more and sooner rather than later you’ll achieve that internet success as you’ve always wanted to.
I realize that most of us don’t have the time to put much work into our website’s. That’s why businesses like RxSEO stay in business. We’re always available to work for you, when you need us.
For 2013 start putting some thought into your blog. Do you have a blog? If you don’t have a blog, then for 2013 you might very well want to consider the implementation of one, onto your already established website and online business. A blog is extremely simple to keep up. If you don’t have the time to manage a blog, that’s ok, because we could take care of your blog for you. A blog is something you use to write. Each day you can add a new post. Blogs can also be very relaxing. Not a writer? That’s ok. Giving your readers and customers a way to better keep up with and follow you and your business makes them feel so much closer to you. Giving them the much needed edge they need to commit themself to you, for years to come.
