Web 2.0 properties have become a really powerful resource to marketers, and have proved to be an SEO’s best friend. While directories sunk like a rocket, and platforms such as classifieds are almost unheard of anymore, Web 2.0 sites are growing, and becoming more popular now, than ever before. Search engines favor Web 2.0 properties, for their social popularity, and that popularity will only increase as 2o13 passes by. I’ve put together a sweet little list of the 60 best Web 2.0 platforms, and have ordered them by their rightful Page Rank.

This list can be used for many different things, whether it be for link building or whatever, that’s your business.

Here’s the list:

If you’ve been doing search engine optimization or link building for more than 5 minutes, you know that Web 2.0 properties (or web 2.0  websites) are a great way to distribute your content and gain some pretty valuable backlinks.

List Of 60 Best Web 2.0 Properties Ordered by Page Rank

These web 2.0 platforms are great for external blogging and should be part of your online marketing.

Some of these web 2.0 properties have very powerful toolbar PR (page rank) — with a little bit of added work and a little effort, it’s possible for you to build up your posts page rank and give more authority to your backlinks (Hint Hint ;) ).

PLEASE Don’t go spamming these sites because your content will quickly get removed, and all that hard work, will have been for nothing — and your account, email and IP will become banned. Plus spamming just isn’t cool…

I love Google Plus, I’ve made use of their social media platform, since the 5th day it was online. I always supported Google+ and said it’d quickly become the “next big thing”. As of this month, it was rated as the number two social media platform, in the world. Constantly updating, copnstantly becoming more and more awesome, by the day — Google Plus Cover photos just got bigger!

Cover photos just got bigger

Similar to the infamous Facebook Timeline covers, Google Plus launched today, what they are referencing as their “Google Plus Cover Photos”. Upon logging into G+, I couldn’t help but to see my new G+ cover photo. Hey, take a look for yourself:

Without me using arrows and other observant edits, within the above image, I think you can look for yourself and see the difference in what Google Plus has done to their user images. I really love the change, and it’s going

A private newsletter that I’m subscribed to, that’s created by Eric Ward has shined some light on a very, very interesting topic, concerning my favorite social platform, Google+. To my amazement, a recent Google Patent is providing searchers with the ability to “mute” Google+ search results.

Bill Slawski wrote about it on Webimax, you can go there to read a lot more about this new search feature. This will provide you with the power to simply MUST spammers and other companies, or basically anything you’d like to.

I found a really interesting tidbit about Google+ and the statistics are earth shattering. Interetsing enough to know, but I wasn’t aware — Google Plus is mostly all male users. I senced a lot of testosterone on Google+, but damn — I didn’t realize it was this bad.

Don’t believe me, Take a look at the facts:

An interesting tidbit from the Google+ stats trackers: Three quarters (or more) of Google+ users are male.

Google+ Three Quarters All Male Users?

SocialStatistics, a third-party site that gathers data from select profiles, pegs the percentage of male users at 86.8%, while FindPeopleOnPlus, which curates information from about a million users, says men constitute 73.7% of Google+.

As an SEO, I really enjoy using social share buttons on all of my websites, and the websites of my clients. Social share buttons provide an easy to understand and easy to use social share opptortunity. Social share buttons allow my website visitors to easily share my content on social media platforms like Google+ and Facebook! Share buttons also allow for me (and anyone else) to know how many times a particular piece of content has been shared. Making for simple social media metrics.

I’ve started using a brand new tool today, one that was created by hubspot and one that works exceptionally awesome. This tool isn’t just for Search Marketers like those here at RxSEO, but this tool can and should be used by basically any and everyone who has a website and is interested in syndicating your content to the social media monster platforms.

How Many Social Shares Did That Get? [FREE TOOL]

And because these buttons are so popular, if I feel an urge to compare the sharing data for my content with that of my competitors’ content, I can typically just navigate to the other site and see what that website’s buttons say. But some sites don’t have those social sharing buttons set up. And without those public-facing sharing buttons, there’s no good way for me to check up on how many times a given URL was shared.

Link Tally makes it easy for you to perform a competitor analysis of basic to advanced social metrics. This provides a user friendly platform, one that anyone can use to compare social metrics. 2013 makes it easy to compare, just go here to get your free tool linktally.com

This tool is not a desktop based tool, therefor it doesn’t take up room on your PC. All you have  to do, to use it, is simply visit the URL where the free tool is located. Make use of it, because it has just been introduced to the market a few minutes ago.

If you think this new social shares tool will be useful in the future, please comment below with your opinions.

Yesterday I had three interested potential customers to contact me — Customers teach us so many things, we more so than not, look over the learning experience of it all. Today I felt the need to offer some awesome benefits to you marketers, as well as those of you whom are a network marketer, promoting an MLM company. This article isn’t going to talk about pyramid schemes, nor am I going to try and recruit you. What I am going to do however — is show you exactly what you’re doing wrong and teach you just how easily you can follow my exact MLM network marketing blueprint. Tons of MLM companies fail every month online, and so do thousands of network marketers involved in an MLM. This isn’t a coincidence, it’s been the same damn thing for many years. So much so that many have labeled MLM as a pyramid scheme, which is untrue. You simply have to have the “know how” — I’m afraid that the rest is a cake walk.

When I started out as an internet marketer, I was far from a guru. In fact, I was in the exact learning phase, as you’re in today.  All of us – have to take one baby step at a time, until we reach the top of this mountain were climbing. Whether you succeed in “your business” is solely up to you. Some of us never give up. We are destined for success. Though as long as you’re involved in an MLM — there’s really only a couple of ways to succeed. If you’re someone who plans to make a ton of money daily, online, you have no option but to “follow what I have to say” word by word.

I had to have money to make money — especially online. -Brian Finale

I mentioned above that there’s only a couple of ways to succeed in an MLM — I’m not trying to sell you anything what-so-ever. I’m not going to provide you with a list of the “couple of options”, because without leveraging this one, there’s no since in wanting to know what the others are. They all go together — plain and simple. To leverage an MLM, as I have done for hundreds of network marketers and for myself, you must own your very

It was mentioned via Google Plus Daily and mentioned through social media (Twitter) by the awesomely observant Matthew Gregory on Twitter, finally Google has done what needed to be done and rolled out a much needed and really improved interface. Those of you whom are managing various Google Plus Pages social local pages (G+SLP?). The new Google Plus interface allows you to quickly view all of the Pages that you are managing all at once, giving you a single view of all notifications across each and every one of your pages  allowing you really quick access to each of your page’s settings.

Google Plus Local Pages Optimization

The new Google Plus URL for the new Google Plus interface is showing up as: https://plus.google.com/dashboard. The new Google Plus Dashboard seems to be a part of the overall Google Plus redesign of +elements. Their seems to be a small replacement for the current Places Dashboard too. This adds to the overall Google Plus local pages optimization and Google Plus marketing strategy. For those of you managing Google Plus pages for multiple clients, you can now manage all pages from one interface. This is the beginning and in my opinion Google+ has a long ways to come.

I think you would agree with me if I was to say that Twitter is a powerful marketing platform. Social Media has grown to an unexpected size, though I would like to speculate the marketing theory of Social Media growing more, much more as we move into the future. 2013 will provide all of us with lots of amazing events, some we might expect and others no one could possibly expect nor understand. Social Media has grown right as large as life, right in front of all our eyes, while Mark Zuckerburg and millions of others, have gotten filthy rich through means of the world wide web. Who would have ever imagined twenty years ago that the internet would have grown to this amazing size? Through the past these events have happened tons of times. It will continue to occur again and again and again. Some while we’re all alive and more long after we’re all dead and gone. Miracles will never just quit happening.

It seems the entire SEO Company universe has been in a complete frenzy over Facebook announcing they have launched their own search engine.  No, it’s not going to be a Google killer and no, it does not crawl and index the web outside of the Facebook.com domain.  It’s best thought of as a private search engine for Facebook’s content ecosystem. It kind of reminds me of the old AOL days when you dialed in and AOL had their own search function. Everything old is new again, just with better bandwidth? However, there are some strategic implications for those of you who are trying to reach Facebook users. I would suggest you get a sense of exactly what’s happening by starting with the below article, and read through the links as well. Facebook SEO is just ahead..

This particular is really interesting:
  • Search results, Facebook says, will be created by a combination of information created/shared by the business (Pages) and connections of the person doing the search (friends, likes, check-ins, etc.).
Talk about inviting noise to your signals. I sense a coming deluge of incentivized and bounty based Facebook marketing tactics, all in an attempt to rank well in Facebook’s search results.

MAKE OUR SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION SERVICE YOUR FIRST PRIORITY
SEO specialist Greg Smith urges new businesses to put their Search Engine Optimization service in place when they are setting up rather than leave it until later.
The founder and driving force of RxSEO.net, which offers tailored SEO packages to new businesses, says it is entirely understandable to leave marketing on the back burner but there are clear advantages to using his Search Engine Optimization service during those crucial first days.
“Anyone who is setting up a new business appreciates the score – there are a thousand and one things to do and all of them before tomorrow,” he said. “You’ll be creating a new company name, a website, bank account and a reliable distribution method and many other things. The temptation is to put SEO on the shelf as something that can be sorted when you are up and running when actually you are just delaying the obvious and awesome benefits a thriving Search Engine Optimization service will provide for you.”
He adds that new businesses should be ensuring crawlers can reach your site by optimizing it with keywords and also in social media profiles. “It is never too soon to be producing unique and current content on your site and looking into how you can convert a potential customer’s initial interest into hard sales,” says Greg. “Remember that as a new site you are starting from square one; therefore you have to be an improvement on what is already out there. Research is vital for the success of any company and that should include keyword research.
“The truth is that if a job is worth doing, it’s worth doing well. That’s why successful companies employ a specialist Search Engine Optimization service such as ours at RxSEO.net to put the necessary groundwork in place. Tracking and reporting should be tackled as a start-up priority and benchmarking and key performance indicators considered from those early formative days.”
Greg explains that he and his team will be delighted to be your business partner as you define your SEO goals. “Are you out there to generate demand and create awareness, is market share your aim or instead is ROI your bottom line? We have got the experience of dealing with many and varied companies, both large and small, and can use that to develop a top rating Search Engine Optimization service for your particular needs.”
Greg strongly recommends his Beginners SEO Plan available to you at an affordable cost of $350. “This is definitely a case for not judging a book by its cover,” he adds. “This is a low cost Search Engine Optimization service plan that really works. We honour all our services and respect the integrity of every single one of our clients as if they are all wearing the same clothes.
“This is a great SEO plan for small websites, small niche, long term keywords, non competitive keywords and so forth. The methods used in our Search Engine Optimization service are basic SEO and are guaranteed to produce a strong upward movement in SERPS within the space of month one of your campaign. In order to receive this SEO Plan, you are required to contact our support team via email at support@RxSEO.net or to grab our attention still sooner leave your detailed information on one of our contact forms located on our website.”
