Blogging Meets Fox News

As a blogger, I spend a ton of time on the web. I’m more than sure I’m not the only blogger online, but have you guys taken the time to wonder what those out there in the real world think of bloggers and the like? As bloggers, we understand one another. In the world of Internet Marketing, it’s our goal to build a business out of nothing. Some of us have developed very profitable brands online and other go to bed at night, dreaming of what it’d be like to just earn a natural backlink. We are very uncommon, our friends and family don’t see us as “working.” So, what do those working the average nine to five job, think of bloggers?

What Do Other People Think Of Bloggers?

As interesting as it may seem, when is the last time you asked someone what they done for a living? Most likely, you haven’t because you already know what they do and how their work details operate. Now let’s look at this side of things; the last time someone ask’d you what you done for a living, what’d you tell them? If you’re anything at all like me, you go on bragging about how great you have paved the road for yourself and go on to explain blogging and SEO to them. Take a look at this video from Fox News Now.

BlogWorld invited some really interesting guests, last week. I really enjoy following Blogworld and keeping track of the, they’re always inviting new attendees and having new speakers. A friend of a friend was able to get up with Fox News at the exhibit and and get them to do a interview.

Fox News didn’t so much go on about the things BlogWorld had done over the past years as an online marketing company, but they went on about all the great benefits of working online, and discussed how so many had clearly developed a business via the Internet, through Internet Marketing and blogging. Fox nor BlogWorld mentioned SEO or anything pertaining to SEO. I have thought of contacting Fox News myself to see if we could stir up the media to do a little more digging!

You too can email fox news at oreilly@foxnews.com. As you already know, in order to succeed online you have to keep pushing and pushing and pushing. Continuing to strive toward what we want, and never accept the words “no”. I know it get’s extremely difficult at times, working day in and day out without an income coming in at times, working and just hoping for a new client. I know how difficult many of you bloggers have it. But, I’m here backing you guys, just keep on moving forward, but more importantly we have to continue to support one another and work together as a community of bloggers.

Schema Tags & Content Markup For SEO:   What are schema tags? And what does schema tags and content markup do for SEO? Before i jump deeply into what this is all about, I just want to mention to all of my readers that I am posting this article for you via my cell phone. It’s difficult typing from such small buttons, but feel it’s important for me to do something like this to prove what it takes to succeed as a passionate SEO. There has been a lot of talk about  Schema Tags & Content Markup For SEO lately, and I’m going to clear he air.

Schema Tags & Content Markup For SEO

Not many marketers or SEOs are familiar about Schema or the use of Schema Tags & Content Markup For SEO or how it can benefit your content or websites. If you Are familiar with the old saying “content is king” the your already a fullmstep ahead of the rest of the bunch. Schema.org  offers a whole new meaning to Content. The implementation of schema tags  offers many different benefits, and is also being adopted by search engines such as Google,Bing and Yahoo.

Schema tags assist in making sure your content ranks for the “keyword term” in which you intend for it to rank. As an example, provided by Schema: the term <H1>AVATAR</H1> could possibly be a “heading one” tag for the movie Avatar, or it could very well be an article about how to use forum Avatar images, using the Schema tag now helps commercial search engines to better rank your keyword terms for the more relevant term, thus providing searchers with more relivent content.

Schema Tags & Content Markup For SEO

Some of the even more beneficial Schema Tags & Content Markup For SEO are the optimization principals. Using schema tags provide you with the opportunity to start adding even more keywords into your content. The schema SEO tags are added using the HTML editing option in wordpress. Schema.org offers an entire hiearchy that has implemented the necessary tags, and to properly implement the Schema tags, I recommend that you take advantage of therel=”nofollow” tag to all content Markup. This is very important, and should be implemented, so that you are not leaking or flowing your precious Page Rank to the webmaster over at Schema.org. Schema SEO services can now be requested here at RxSEO.net. We have viewed the source code of some of our competitors, such as SEO.COM and couldn’t help to take into consideration that the biggest sites on the web have implemented this new SEO opportunity, but my question is how long have our competitors been using Schema tags”? The better question here is how long has Your competitors been using this SEO Schema feature! -Schema Tags & Content Markup For SEO-

Below is an example of the above “example per the <h>avatar</h> explination.

Trackback Benefits of SEO: First, I would like to explain exactly what trackbacks are. I have been getting some emals lately, from marketers asking me what trackbacks are, and how they could use them for their benefit. I’m quite very upset by this. I have written several articles pertaining to this question, and have published several very beneficial articles about how to grow your website, make more money and build your backlinks “all while not having to put forth any effort”, yet I receive emails from people asking me, what are trackbacks! You know who you are, and you should be ashamed of yourself. Yes you! And if you are reading this article, and don’t know what trackbacks are, you should be ashamed of yourself too. But it’s ok, because after you read my article, you will be ready to get started building your own trackbacks.

Let’s get staretd shall we?

Trackbacks are “when someone else links to your website, or copies your article (links inluded) and puts it on their website, mentioning you as the author. Simple enough? Well, don’t get your panties in a wad just yet, because getting trackbacks from other marketers who are relivent to your niche, can be a bit tricky. How do I recommend that you get started? Well, I recommend that you start writing quality articles, using the mind that God gave you. People will naturally link to you. Do keep in mind that trackbck links can be more valuable than let’s say; Ten tarckback links are more of quality and are more valued than Ten thousand spam links. So, in my world, their worth achieving.

Trackback Benefits of SEO: As stated in the last paragraph, trackback links offer many benefits. I am going to let you guys know that “you are very welcome to copy any of my articles,” and promote them on your website(s). I write all of the content that you find on RxSEO.net, other than the obvious “guest posts“. Speaking of guest posting, we are also accepting guest post offers, guest posting is something that I am not seing enough of. Not very many of yo are wanting to put forth the needed effort that is absolutely necissary in order to make money online. You want to eat of the same plate, but you don’t wana put forth any effort. For those of you who do want to putforth a bit of work, and have some fun at the same time, hey, all you have to do is email me, and tell me that you have some interesting content “that you wrote”, and I will allow you to post your content on my site. This is a great way to promote your website and drive some traffic. But hey, your life is ” what you make of it.” I’m just here to help.

Like I was saying, “let’s build some trackbacks.” I have always loved sports, and I am a firm believer in team effort. Working as a team surely gets things done at a much better rate. Get your butt in gear and start adding quality content to that website of yours, and stop dreaming of what it’d be like to have a million visitors a month, visit your website. Grab a article of mine, and post it on your site, to help you get staretd. Be sure to keep my links in the article, and add me to the bottom as the author. These are just a few Trackback Benefits of SEO. I wish each and everyone of you the best of luck, but remember, it’s solely up to you to have a better life. Noone else can do it for you.

Trackback Benefits of SEO and How To Get Free High Quality Content

Scammed?

If you’ve visited RxSEO within the past week, you could’nt of been able to gain access. Incase you’re wondering, yes this is RxSEO. Why could’nt you gain access to your favorite SEO community? You can thank your good friends at Fiver.com for being, well, not such a safe place to outsource freelancers to work on your websites, to put it lightly! I’ve enjoyed the ease of hiring freelancers from Fiver.com for years, up until last week.

It all began when I was looking through my long list of inbox email one cold winter day, and while I was reviewing te hsubject lines, to see waht was what, and who has sent me what, I stumbled upon a subject line, that jumped out at me, like a coperehead. Teh subject line said: “Contact Tearms of Service at Bluehost.com immediately“. I wondered why this email was sent to me, and could’nt help but to become a little bit unsettled in my chair. So, I directly opened the email, and to my disbelief, it read something like this: Your Bluehost hosting company has disabled your account. Immediately I rush over to my high traffic sites, to find that all of tem hare not working. So, as i read further down the email, it tells me that the big G (Google) has contacted them, informing them that neumerous people have contacted them, informing them of threatening software being installed on several of my websites. At this point, my mouth is almost to the floor, in disbelief. Yet, as I continue to read, I learn tat this so called threatening software was found to be “maleware”. The email ended by stating that until this was corrected, and also approved by Google, my entire company would remain “DEAD”.

With no experience and very little knowledge of maleware, I mindlessly rush over to Fiver.com and search for someone who could remove maleware from websites. To my amazement, I initially located several is where this very service was offered. I began be sending all of those guys a message, explaining what I needed done. Luckily, I did find someone to correct this issue. He informed me that this infection ahd been manually installed upon 7 of my 17 websites. I was told tath it was installed by a hacker, the hacker installed this maleware by reviewing my meta descriptions, to find what wordpress sites had not been regularly updates. Apparently the meta descriptions show others what version on wordpress we have installed. So, all the hacker had to do was find a gap or hole witihn the php code, and easily install whatever they wish onto “my company websites”.

Well, I can’t begin to tell you how relieved I was to get this mess taken care of. I knew it was’nt over just yet though, because I had yet to prove to Google my cleanliness! I contacted my hosting company to find out exactly what was required to get googles approval. I was told to use googles webmaster tools, so I did. Googles wonderful webmaster tools prooved to work well, and I was glad to learn that my sites really was clean. I wanted to do nothing more, but to take measures to assure this would never happen again.

So, I returned to fiver to locate a freelancer, someone who could provide added security for my network of websites. I located a pure gem, I’ll be the first to tell ya! We setup te hwork process. Ten minutes later I was contacted by Fivers top rated seller, telling me that he has completely destroyed one of my websites, and if I did’nt send him $1,000 he would demolish my entire company. What would you of done in this predicimate? huh? Well Ill tell you exactly wat I did, I contacted my hosting company immediately, and demanded they lock down my network, and Cpanel so tight an ant couldn’t crawl trough. I had to explain to them what had happened. I wanted them to reset my acccount, and change all info. to protect myself, from this kind of activity! Well, in complete disbelief th e ahck man not only destroyed one of my favorite websites, he altered all info within my hosting panel, I guess he had anticipated my contacting them already. Bluehost ask me for my email address used, and my main domain name. When I gave them my details, they informed me that my info. was incorrect. Bluehost.com then told me that I would need to complete a ownership dispute.

Well, to make a long story short, it has taken me a solid week to regain access to my company! The moral to this story folks is, 1.) “you get what you pay for” 2.) Stay the heck awayh from Fiver.com

Take all measures to never allow anyone access to your Cpanel, by No means necissary. You need to update all of your wordpress websites. Don’t be lazy in this area guys. I truely did not know just how my websites meant to me, till I just about lost everything.

When you have a blog, you will search for several ways to promote your blog and to get it a high ranking on search engines. To do this, one of the best ways currently available is guest blog posting which is apparently one of the easiest ways of generating links pointing to your website. There is nothing complicated in this task and you are bound to get a lot of exposure when guest Blog Posting is done. Exposure for your blog is also accompanied by quality backlinks to your blogs and this time you don’t have to spend any money to get this done. When you do guest blog posting, you are actually increasing the visibility of your blog through a popular blog with a large audience. Once the reader of the blogs find your post interesting, they are bound to click through and come visit your blog and that is exactly what a new blog needs in its initial state of development.

Since the readers were interested in the post you made on the blog, they are bound to come back again to your website to see the new posts you make. Guest Posting is hence a great source of traffic and most importantly you are building a reader list which will become useful in the long run. All you need to do is choose a popular blog that are in the same niche as yours and shortlist the best from the choices. When you make guest blog posting on these popular blogs, there are certain things that you need to focus and the most important one is to write professionally. You are taking your blog to next higher level by guest blog posting and you want readers to be impressed by what you have to offer.
If you are wondering how to find blogs that allow guest Post, you can stop worrying as the sole thing you need to do is do a Google search and you will be saturated with results. Several websites even offer lists of top blogs allowing guest post and you need to make use of resources like them to build your list of blogs where you intend to do guest blog posting.
Guest Blogging also means that you are going to be given a backlink to your website and when the blog where you happen to guest blogging happen to be big, you will be getting yourself high quality backlinks which is not possible to attain unless you are ready to invest a lot of money otherwise. So once you have made up your mind for guest blog posting, approach the owners of the blogs and present your request to them. If they are allowing guest blogging, then they will tell you what to do next. In case you have any friends in the niche market that you are targeting, then your job gets easier as they will be willing to help you out and the only thing that you need to focus on is to write awesome content when you are guest blog posting.
Important Note:

*Use your main keyword in your Meta tag <title>My Site Name Keyword</title>
*Use your main keyword in the Meta tag ”Description” content=”Michele’s Keyword warnings.
*Use your main keyword in your web page Header such as “Newbie 101 Keyword Tips”
*Use your main keyword once in the Heading tag <h1>a list of great keywords</h1>
*Use your main keyword in your site paragraphs. Try to be very limited on its use and use it were it sounds right.
NEVER try to hide (stuff) keywords by matching the font color to the site background. Google spiders will see it and are likely to penalize you.
If you do keyword spam, and do end up in the top 10 that is simply because Google hasn’t given you a good going over. It will soon enough and you may see you went from #7 to 53.
Stay in focus and remember you are writing for a PERSON and not a search engine spider.

Local SEO has recently taken a major turn for the better, as more and more small, local businesses are seeing more solid benefits, from receiving local citation’s from their Local SEO agency. What are local SEO citations? Citation’s are similar to links. The thing that most organizations and professional SEO’s don’t understand is how citation’s work. Citations are NOT links. So, don’t expect links when your local SEO company generates citations for you.

Citations are in many cases, a lot more powerful than that of links. What are citation’s? A citation isn’t anything more than your business or Website listing, within a local directory. What I mean by listing is, your Website name (title) and description. Many companies could very possibly go by the same name, so it’s always best that your local SEO company use your Website url. No link will be created, as most of these directories don’t allow links, but what will be left behind is your citation.

Google places, now known as Google+ local is a great place to have your business listed. In fact, this is what most companies refer to when talking about their local SEO. This is a possibility, and is a great way to promote your local business. Though, I recommend that if you don’t have a Website to promote yourself, and business that you get one made, and promote your own site via Local SEO, for as many key phrases as you’d like.

Citation’s give a huge Search Engine Report Pages (SERP) boost, and push your site to the top of the first page. What is the point is this? The number one listing, on page number one – gets about 60% of all clicks, for any key phrase being searched for. Approx 15% of all clicks will go to listing number two. Approx 10% will go to position or listing number three and the remainder of clicks will be spread out not in the fourth listing position, but…to all the other listings, throughout page one – page two and page three. This is the sole reason why SEO is so extremely important, for all businesses.

The next time you think about how bad you need more links, think about how you’ve neglected citation’s all this time, and go out and get some for that site you love so much!

The List of The Best Citation Sources:

Without including a “possible citiation source” in the search, the total number of results was 9,300. The first few sites below show up in a very high percentage of those 9,300 results (for example, Google Places shows up in 44% of the results). Take a look and let me know what you think in the comments below. All the below listed directories and Site’s are listed in order of importance, from greatest to least greatest. Process Of SEO : SEO is one of the most discussed topics when it comes to websites and online businesses and every individual who performs seo has a different seo plan from others. When someone develops their seo plan, they usually do not reveal it specifically because of the fact that they will lose the advantage that they have over other businesses or competitors. Anyhow, the basic process of seo is the same and everyone just alters them in their own ways to make it more efficient and robust. Streamlining your seo process could be the key to make your seo plan a more successful one.
When offering seo services to clients, make sure that you keep a well formulated list of services that you can offer to them. seo packages are also found to be appealing as the client gets something out of it and the provider is also gaining a good deal of profit.
Researching – Most important aspect of SEO
The seo process can be broadly divided into different sections and this division will help you in mastering every single aspect associated with seo. For instance, researching is one of the important things to do when you enter the world of seo. Yes, the idea here is to research and find relevant keywords as well as to build a strategy alongside to make use of the keywords that you have come up with to benefit your business. Keyword research is a vast area and it is actually not possible to explain how to do it accurately and you will have to practice and research on your own to get a glitch of how it is done.
Making use of the keywords and creating quality content
Process Of SEO – Once you have the keywords sorted out, you can proceed with the next step in the process of seo. Writing articles with quality content for the website and sprinkling the keywords evenly in the article should help in gaining attention of the search engines and once they analyze the content, they will put your website on appropriate positions in the search engine based on the quality of the article and the use of keywords in it. Seo is done overnight and takes significant amount of time before you start seeing results. When you write the articles, make sure that you don’t coop content from any website as this could affect your ranking and too much plagiarism could even get your website penalized.
Building links and gaining exposure for the website
Once the articles are done, you can start building links to your blog and this happens to be one of the la final things to do in the process of se. the link building activity can be accomplished by different means. The success of your website solely depends on how well you have understood your niche and your competitors. Seo process also requires that you keep track of the activities of your competitors because this will give you an insight of the next move that they are going to make for tanking better in search engines. That’s the Process Of SEO ..

6 Benefits of Using Google Alerts: No one wants to feel left out of the loop, being up-to-date and informed is the way Google wants you to be and Google Alerts provides the information needed to stay on top of things. What is this awesome feature I’m talking about? Well, Google Alerts is a content change detection and notification system that informs you on relevant Google search results for things like news, blogs, articles etc. It gives you result’s on all the things that you are particularly interested in. When using Google Alerts you’ll receive new updates on the top 20 web results or top 10 news results for terms you specify to the system, also allowing you to delete any unwanted updates in the email or RSS feed. Google Alerts provides information by updating you and sending alerts via email, web feed, or iGoogle as queries from you are updated or changed.

Google Alerts is a special feature that allows you to track the online reputation of your e-commerce website. The ‘alerts’ are emailed to you at the interval that you choose and tell you what is being said about your e-commerce website (or whatever keywords you choose to be alerted for) on the Googlesphere. It only takes a few minutes to set up a Google Alert, and it obviously can save you a ton of time in endlessly searching Google Alerts yourself!

6 Benefit of using Google Alerts:

1. Blog Commenting:  I set up one alert for the main keywords of one of my sites/niches. Now, I am alerted to new blog posts or articles published online. The benefit of this is that, because these blog posts are related to my niche, they are perfect for me to comment on. So this is a great way to find relevant blogs for blog commenting. Whenever I build a new site I set up Google Alerts too to keep myself alerted for that keyword. I only choose to get alerts from blogs with my particular keywords. So whenever someone posts a blog on my keywords I get notified about it. This makes sure that I can receive their blogs first, before anyone and add a quality comment to their blogs.
2. Find other websites using my articles – legally or illegally: This is with a Google Alert set up for my name. Yesterday I got an alert and checked the article and found that they had taken it from Articles Base. Articles Base, just like Ezine Articles, requires for an article to be used from their site. The resource box must remain intact including any links. With my article, they had included the resource box but removed my links. I have now contacted them and asked them to remove it from their website and am waiting on a reply. If I hadn’t been using Google Alerts I would never have found this article and I wonder just how many others I’ve missed before using GA.
3. Just keep an eye on your competition: When using Google Alerts for your main keyword phrase you can see when articles are published for that phrase. This will definitely help you keep an eye on your competition. Although they may publish articles and blog posts using other keyword phrases, you will be able to keep an eye on those that are competing for the same phrase.

4. Competition is fierce: Being on top of information can keep you a step ahead of anyone else by giving you the ability to report new information first to others
Some other benefits are;
Another good use of Google Alerts is to get ideas for blog posts and articles. I have Google Alerts setup for several of my keywords and use SEO news and other SEO alerts as inspiration for our posts.
5.) *You can also use Google Alerts to let you know when you get backlinks. The benefits of Google Alerts are numerous. The next time you take advantage of this feature, you should try and see exactly how google alerts could be a link-building playground! Go ahead and experiment with it and figure out all of it’s benefits. When you have finished doing that, please come back to RxSEO and leave us a comment letting us know what you thought about it!

6.) Reputation Management: It is handy for reputation management (when people mention your name), news, and an assortment of other things.
You can use Google Alerts to track your name, pen names, competitor names, article titles you create, keywords  you are interested in as a follower, or blogger… etc.
All handy information sent right to your inbox and only takes a few seconds to set up each alert.

These are only a few of the benefits of using google alerts! Apply this and if you find some of the benefits we didn’t list above, let us know. Be sure to share this article on Facebook and Twitter if you’ve found it useful.

For example, I use this email app on;  Support@RxSEO.net my main email account. This app has many professional add ons. Some of the add ons include Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google Plus and much, much more! I’ve taken a screenshot of my finished signature, to show you what’s possible with the free app.How To Create A Professional Email Signature

This app offers a premium membership, which is a paid add-on, that offers a more professional signature. I’ve not yet tried the premium account. As for the way my current signature appears, and the many conversions it has so far given me, it does just fine, without the paid fees. This is also a fabulous was to funnel traffic to your websites, and to your social media accounts. How To Create A Professional Email Signature
