When you have a blog, you will search for several ways to promote your blog and to get it a high ranking on search engines. To do this, one of the best ways currently available is guest blog posting which is apparently one of the easiest ways of generating links pointing to your website. There is nothing complicated in this task and you are bound to get a lot of exposure when guest Blog Posting is done. Exposure for your blog is also accompanied by quality backlinks to your blogs and this time you don’t have to spend any money to get this done. When you do guest blog posting, you are actually increasing the visibility of your blog through a popular blog with a large audience. Once the reader of the blogs find your post interesting, they are bound to click through and come visit your blog and that is exactly what a new blog needs in its initial state of development.

Since the readers were interested in the post you made on the blog, they are bound to come back again to your website to see the new posts you make. Guest Posting is hence a great source of traffic and most importantly you are building a reader list which will become useful in the long run. All you need to do is choose a popular blog that are in the same niche as yours and shortlist the best from the choices. When you make guest blog posting on these popular blogs, there are certain things that you need to focus and the most important one is to write professionally. You are taking your blog to next higher level by guest blog posting and you want readers to be impressed by what you have to offer.
If you are wondering how to find blogs that allow guest Post, you can stop worrying as the sole thing you need to do is do a Google search and you will be saturated with results. Several websites even offer lists of top blogs allowing guest post and you need to make use of resources like them to build your list of blogs where you intend to do guest blog posting.
Guest Blogging also means that you are going to be given a backlink to your website and when the blog where you happen to guest blogging happen to be big, you will be getting yourself high quality backlinks which is not possible to attain unless you are ready to invest a lot of money otherwise. So once you have made up your mind for guest blog posting, approach the owners of the blogs and present your request to them. If they are allowing guest blogging, then they will tell you what to do next. In case you have any friends in the niche market that you are targeting, then your job gets easier as they will be willing to help you out and the only thing that you need to focus on is to write awesome content when you are guest blog posting.
Important Note:

*Use your main keyword in your Meta tag <title>My Site Name Keyword</title>
*Use your main keyword in the Meta tag ”Description” content=”Michele’s Keyword warnings.
*Use your main keyword in your web page Header such as “Newbie 101 Keyword Tips”
*Use your main keyword once in the Heading tag <h1>a list of great keywords</h1>
*Use your main keyword in your site paragraphs. Try to be very limited on its use and use it were it sounds right.
NEVER try to hide (stuff) keywords by matching the font color to the site background. Google spiders will see it and are likely to penalize you.
If you do keyword spam, and do end up in the top 10 that is simply because Google hasn’t given you a good going over. It will soon enough and you may see you went from #7 to 53.
Stay in focus and remember you are writing for a PERSON and not a search engine spider.

Local SEO has recently taken a major turn for the better, as more and more small, local businesses are seeing more solid benefits, from receiving local citation’s from their Local SEO agency. What are local SEO citations? Citation’s are similar to links. The thing that most organizations and professional SEO’s don’t understand is how citation’s work. Citations are NOT links. So, don’t expect links when your local SEO company generates citations for you.

Citations are in many cases, a lot more powerful than that of links. What are citation’s? A citation isn’t anything more than your business or Website listing, within a local directory. What I mean by listing is, your Website name (title) and description. Many companies could very possibly go by the same name, so it’s always best that your local SEO company use your Website url. No link will be created, as most of these directories don’t allow links, but what will be left behind is your citation.

Google places, now known as Google+ local is a great place to have your business listed. In fact, this is what most companies refer to when talking about their local SEO. This is a possibility, and is a great way to promote your local business. Though, I recommend that if you don’t have a Website to promote yourself, and business that you get one made, and promote your own site via Local SEO, for as many key phrases as you’d like.

Citation’s give a huge Search Engine Report Pages (SERP) boost, and push your site to the top of the first page. What is the point is this? The number one listing, on page number one – gets about 60% of all clicks, for any key phrase being searched for. Approx 15% of all clicks will go to listing number two. Approx 10% will go to position or listing number three and the remainder of clicks will be spread out not in the fourth listing position, but…to all the other listings, throughout page one – page two and page three. This is the sole reason why SEO is so extremely important, for all businesses.

The next time you think about how bad you need more links, think about how you’ve neglected citation’s all this time, and go out and get some for that site you love so much!

The List of The Best Citation Sources:

Without including a “possible citiation source” in the search, the total number of results was 9,300. The first few sites below show up in a very high percentage of those 9,300 results (for example, Google Places shows up in 44% of the results). Take a look and let me know what you think in the comments below. All the below listed directories and Site’s are listed in order of importance, from greatest to least greatest. Start from the top, and work your way down.

1) Google Places

Probably the most important and most talked about place to list your local business. Getting citations from many of the sites below (as well as ratings) can help boost your business’ listing in Google.

2) Yelp

Process Of SEO : SEO is one of the most discussed topics when it comes to websites and online businesses and every individual who performs seo has a different seo plan from others. When someone develops their seo plan, they usually do not reveal it specifically because of the fact that they will lose the advantage that they have over other businesses or competitors. Anyhow, the basic process of seo is the same and everyone just alters them in their own ways to make it more efficient and robust. Streamlining your seo process could be the key to make your seo plan a more successful one.
When offering seo services to clients, make sure that you keep a well formulated list of services that you can offer to them. seo packages are also found to be appealing as the client gets something out of it and the provider is also gaining a good deal of profit.
Researching – Most important aspect of SEO
The seo process can be broadly divided into different sections and this division will help you in mastering every single aspect associated with seo. For instance, researching is one of the important things to do when you enter the world of seo. Yes, the idea here is to research and find relevant keywords as well as to build a strategy alongside to make use of the keywords that you have come up with to benefit your business. Keyword research is a vast area and it is actually not possible to explain how to do it accurately and you will have to practice and research on your own to get a glitch of how it is done.
Making use of the keywords and creating quality content
Process Of SEO – Once you have the keywords sorted out, you can proceed with the next step in the process of seo. Writing articles with quality content for the website and sprinkling the keywords evenly in the article should help in gaining attention of the search engines and once they analyze the content, they will put your website on appropriate positions in the search engine based on the quality of the article and the use of keywords in it. Seo is done overnight and takes significant amount of time before you start seeing results. When you write the articles, make sure that you don’t coop content from any website as this could affect your ranking and too much plagiarism could even get your website penalized.
Building links and gaining exposure for the website
Once the articles are done, you can start building links to your blog and this happens to be one of the la final things to do in the process of se. the link building activity can be accomplished by different means. The success of your website solely depends on how well you have understood your niche and your competitors. Seo process also requires that you keep track of the activities of your competitors because this will give you an insight of the next move that they are going to make for tanking better in search engines. That’s the Process Of SEO ..

6 Benefits of Using Google Alerts: No one wants to feel left out of the loop, being up-to-date and informed is the way Google wants you to be and Google Alerts provides the information needed to stay on top of things. What is this awesome feature I’m talking about? Well, Google Alerts is a content change detection and notification system that informs you on relevant Google search results for things like news, blogs, articles etc. It gives you result’s on all the things that you are particularly interested in. When using Google Alerts you’ll receive new updates on the top 20 web results or top 10 news results for terms you specify to the system, also allowing you to delete any unwanted updates in the email or RSS feed. Google Alerts provides information by updating you and sending alerts via email, web feed, or iGoogle as queries from you are updated or changed.

Google Alerts is a special feature that allows you to track the online reputation of your e-commerce website. The ‘alerts’ are emailed to you at the interval that you choose and tell you what is being said about your e-commerce website (or whatever keywords you choose to be alerted for) on the Googlesphere. It only takes a few minutes to set up a Google Alert, and it obviously can save you a ton of time in endlessly searching Google Alerts yourself!

6 Benefit of using Google Alerts:

1. Blog Commenting:  I set up one alert for the main keywords of one of my sites/niches. Now, I am alerted to new blog posts or articles published online. The benefit of this is that, because these blog posts are related to my niche, they are perfect for me to comment on. So this is a great way to find relevant blogs for blog commenting. Whenever I build a new site I set up Google Alerts too to keep myself alerted for that keyword. I only choose to get alerts from blogs with my particular keywords. So whenever someone posts a blog on my keywords I get notified about it. This makes sure that I can receive their blogs first, before anyone and add a quality comment to their blogs.
2. Find other websites using my articles – legally or illegally: This is with a Google Alert set up for my name. Yesterday I got an alert and checked the article and found that they had taken it from Articles Base. Articles Base, just like Ezine Articles, requires for an article to be used from their site. The resource box must remain intact including any links. With my article, they had included the resource box but removed my links. I have now contacted them and asked them to remove it from their website and am waiting on a reply. If I hadn’t been using Google Alerts I would never have found this article and I wonder just how many others I’ve missed before using GA.
3. Just keep an eye on your competition: When using Google Alerts for your main keyword phrase you can see when articles are published for that phrase. This will definitely help you keep an eye on your competition. Although they may publish articles and blog posts using other keyword phrases, you will be able to keep an eye on those that are competing for the same phrase.

4. Competition is fierce: Being on top of information can keep you a step ahead of anyone else by giving you the ability to report new information first to others
Some other benefits are;
Another good use of Google Alerts is to get ideas for blog posts and articles. I have Google Alerts setup for several of my keywords and use SEO news and other SEO alerts as inspiration for our posts.
5.) *You can also use Google Alerts to let you know when you get backlinks. The benefits of Google Alerts are numerous. The next time you take advantage of this feature, you should try and see exactly how google alerts could be a link-building playground! Go ahead and experiment with it and figure out all of it’s benefits. When you have finished doing that, please come back to RxSEO and leave us a comment letting us know what you thought about it!

6.) Reputation Management: It is handy for reputation management (when people mention your name), news, and an assortment of other things.
You can use Google Alerts to track your name, pen names, competitor names, article titles you create, keywords  you are interested in as a follower, or blogger… etc.
All handy information sent right to your inbox and only takes a few seconds to set up each alert.

These are only a few of the benefits of using google alerts! Apply this and if you find some of the benefits we didn’t list above, let us know. Be sure to share this article on Facebook and Twitter if you’ve found it useful.

I am sure that there are many of you out there that are the wife, fiancée, girlfriend, or even a friend of an Seo guru. You will agree with me that loving or being involved with someone who does SEO for a living is a hectic lifestyle to say the least. It is unbelievable the passion and hard work that goes into working on the internet or owning a business on the internet and making it a success. I have never had a mate or partner put in as many hours into their work as my husband does. He is working in one of the fastest and most constant changing fields that there is to work in.
With such high technology and the internet always updating and changing, you are forced to be in the learning mode all of the time. It takes a certain type of person with a lot of energy and drive to make it the business of SEO and the web. As a wife, that was hard for me to understand at first, but as I stood by him I began to see his hard work paying off. The reward was huge, he starting making money and it helped his confidence, self-esteem and spirit soar. Not to say there wasn’t a lot of sacrifice by both of us, romantically as well as financially in the beginning. It is a life you must adapt to and like anything worth having it took time and an abundance of patience’s.To make your business profitable and successful on the web you are putting in so many hours of work. My husband worked every day of the week, seven day’s a week and several hour’s each and every day. Sometimes, he works as many as 16-18 hours a day.

When he first began he studied everything and anything he could find on being successful and making money on the internet. He tried many different things and spent some money before learning that there was no such thing as a get rich quick scheme and if it sounded to good to be true it probably was. He had to go through those experiences, because it finally taught him what he enjoyed doing and what he didn’t. His trial and error’s showed him what he needed to do and how to do it to make this work for him. We had many disagreements about different endeavor’s or products he wanted to invest in. I learned to just try to support him and hope he found what he was looking for. Along the way I learned a lot, more than I ever imagined just by watching him and getting involved. The key for us is to support our mates and to learn more about what they are doing. The saying “patience is a virtue”, is definitely true for the wife of an SEO. We had many months when he first began that we never got to go out to enjoy ourselves, because he was so busy learning and working. I just tried to have faith in him, because I figured if he is working this hard it has to pay off eventually and it did. It wasn’t always that easy to remember that or to do it. If I could give other wives any advice about their husbands just starting out on the internet or with SEO, I would say give it time and be as interested and informed as you can be. It makes it easier for you to understand how difficult it really is for them and when they share with you what they are doing it helps if you understand what they are talking about. At least it sure did for me.

My husband luckily found his niche, which just happens to be SEO or search engine optimization. He has taken his dreams of owning his own company on the internet and made it a reality. He has always told me that he wanted to make something that him and I could share and something he could one day give or leave behind to our future children. He has started a company from scratch and made it into a profitable business that grows bigger and bigger each day. Something I forgot to share with you is that it did take money to establish, start and to run this business, but it really does take money to make money as they say. It didn’t happen overnight and there are cost’s to have your own company no matter what you do. I now believe that it was worth every penny. My husband has a hunger for knowledge that he never had before and he is wanting and willing to learn any and all new information available about SEO and the internet. The good part of this process is once you get started you don’t have to work quite as much. He has much more time available now to spend with me enjoying ourselves and we have the financial freedom to do more than we ever could before. So I put an emphasis on having the patience and giving all the support you can to your husband or mate’s. It has made all of the difference in the world for my relationship with my husband and my husband’s success. Don’t get me wrong we still have a hectic life filled with all the new changes occurring daily on the internet and there is always new competition, but we just take it one day at a time and deal with it together. Remember behind every great man is a great women and I sincerely believe that. The trick is working together and with each other rather than against each other. On the internet you run into enough problem’s and have enough competitor’s, that’s why it helps when you can come together as one united front in business and personal life. The key to being happy and successful in your marriage is to understand your partners goals and to help them reach them. My husband’s business and our relationship became more successful the more I put into it. I am so glad I did stand by him and am sure he would do the same. So keep hanging in there and keep the communication open. Learn more about what interest or excites you mate and it could make all the difference in the world. The life of an SEO’s wife is never boring and dramatically different from any other, but I wouldn’t change any of it. It has help make us stronger than we have ever been and much more financially stable. Our future look’s great and only getting better. I guess I can thank Local SEO and maybe even my husband for that.

As the title states, there won’t be anymore manual Google Panda updates. Truth to the matter is, Google has incorperated the Panda Algorithm structure, into their Algorithm. This is good and bad. The good news is, Googlers won’t be doing this manually anymore, and the bad news is, Panda will be an automated process. As most of you are already aware, when an automated penalty takes place, you’re normally not even notified, and it isn’t something you can file a reconsideration request on. Makes for a lot of questions, and I realize that, bur I’m currently not in a position, where I can answer those, at least not until I learn more about this.

All in all, I think you’ll be ok. Automated penalties aren’t contracted as often nor as severe as what manual penalties are. Manual website reviews open the doors for all sorts s of prejudice, whereas an automated penalty would be completely processed by a machine (The Google Algorithm)

As per the recent Google Panda update, that happened over ths past weekend, and as far as what I’ve discussed with you above, you can read a lot more about that on Barry Schwartz post, over on Danny Sullivan’s website, Search Engine Land. I do not support  their beliefs, and that website is not affiliated with RxSEO.

This is just another update, from Google. There will be many more, where that came from. I expect 2013 to have a lot in store for webmasters. This post was meant to be a simple update about Panda, I will keep it short and sweet. There’s really nothing else going on today, I’m really busy in the background working on local seo campaigns, for various customers, but I will try and start back blogging regularly here, within the next couple of days. Please stay tuned. Use the commenting section to comment, or ask questions, and I’ll be more than happy to pop my head out of the water.

I’m also currently busy working on a really awesome project, over on Google Plus. I’ve started a really unique “Google Plus Local SEO Community” and so far it’s going really smoothe. It’s a community for webmasters to help one another with SEO problems, learn more about local SEO and to bring all local SEO‘s and local SEO enthusiest together and unite. It’s the perfect place to get ALL of your questions answered, on any topic. No question is too smart! ;)

Visit us on Google Plus and let’s have some fun! https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/108872072649387120197?cfem=1

How To Us Blackhat SEO Safely To Your AdvantageHow To Us Blackhat SEO To Your Advantage: By now, I’m sure you’ve heard of Blackhat SEO and how it can hurt your website. By now, you’ve probably familiar with what Blackhat SEO is, and are likely familiar with some of the Blackhat SEO strategies. The difference from White to Blackhat SEO is a very fine line.

How To Us Blackhat SEO Safely To Your Advantage

Here in Kentucky, there has been a problem lately, on the freeways, due to drivers making Uturns, using the center median. The said to be “problem“, is the fine drivers are having to pay, when getting caught by the police, while  they are in the process of making the Uturn. The “problem” with this is the $60.00 fine. Drivers in Kentucky said that, they don’t mind the fine, because this is a way of getting something done, in order for them — to get to where they’re going. It’s a very small risk to take, and not every driver gets caught, with their pants down.

Local SEO is becoming the most important marketing factor for business owners, from all over the world. I’ve recently found that more and more webmasters are doing their own Local SEO campaigns — for not only their own websites, but for sites of clients too. I recently done some really in depth research on Elance and Odesk (Freelance Platforms) and what I found, made me sick to my stomach.

The Number One Reason Why You Have Failed At Local SEO

What I found, was that Freelance Local Search Optimizers and Foreign webmasters are providing tons of services on Elance and Odesk and aren’t providing their clients with results. Afterward, I sit down and pondered upon this unbelievable aspect of what’s going on in the Local SEO market. A lot of us don’t see this going on, because it’s going on behind these outsourcing and freelance platforms, and not a lot of people are blogging about it. Truth is, there isn’t many of us who focus 100% on the topic of Local SEO.

Not only is the blame on freelance marketers and foreign webmasters, but the same amount of blame is on local webmasters. The reason I have found that so many of you have failed at search engine optimization, is solely because you’re too focused on advanced strategies.

why you have failed at local seo

Those of you who know me, know that I’m a personal fitness trainer. Something I seen in the gym for many years, was people using suppliments, energy drinks, protein drinks, etc. Everyone wants to be a chief, and no one wants to be an Indian, and what I mean by that is, everyone wants to get to the TOP, with the least amount of work possible, and by spending (investing) the least amount of money imaginable.

Marketing To Offline SEO ClientsTo be frank — I haven’t done a whole hell of a lot of offline marketing, for this business. Truth is, I just started marketing my business offline — in mt hometown. In this post, I want to discuss some of the more beneficial aspects of marketing your business offline, and help others to learn some of the ways I plan to hit the offline SEO market. I would like to ask you guys to please use the comment form below, and provide your opinions and experiences there. There are too many marketers, marketing 100% online — and truth is, this is why there’s so many marketers failing at their chosen business startup. Failure doesn’t have to play a role in our businesses, but it does take some offline motivation.

Offline marketing is so scarce, that when I do some research in Google — this is what I found initially. I went to Google.com and typed in this keyword:

how to approach an offline seo client

What I found was shocking. The #1 Google listing, took me to a website, that was no longer online. It was a 404 page. The second listing was for an old, shitty sales page. The entire first page was crap. Take a look for yourself. This is great evidence of how many people aren’t marketing offline. This just goes to show how wide open the market really is.

Here lately I’ve purchased some signs for my business. I visited a local custom signs company, and had some 4feet by 4fee\t business signs created, using the RxSEO logo, and business information. I posted one of the signs in my front yard, and another at the top of the road, where I live.

The signs turned out to be so nice, that I called the company where I purchased them from, and requested to have 2 more made. I plan to post those around town. The reason I went with such a large sized sign, is because anything smaller couldn’t easily be read by someone driving by. Business signs should establish an offline brand awareness locally.

My Offline-SEO Client Getting Strategy, for the near future is going to take a little more motivation and guts. I’m going to have to start going around and introducing myself to local business owners.

It’s too easy to just sit behind a computer all day, everyday. There’s too many people doing it. If you’re a marketer, then by now you’ve come to termjs with how difficult it is, getting started online.
